Today's views from the wedding of Mike and Sarah are spectacular. Photographed by Ocean Blue Photography and Design, the couple married on top of a mountain and said their vows overlooking Lake Tahoe. Such amazing scenery and everyone who attended rode the tram up the top of the mountain.

I love the desserts Mike and Sarah served their guests - wedding pies. There was also a cupcake for the bride and groom to feed each other.

A unique feature of their wedding as having a friend sing them a song, accompanied by a 2nd friend on guitar as the newlyweds did a slow dance.

Thank you Ocean Blue Photography and Design for sharing today's "wedding with a view" with my readers today.

I recently received my very own Chilly Jilly™ Wrap and I'm in love with it. It's a super stylish wrap that comes packaged in a small silk drawstring bag that can easily be tucked in your purse. If you feel a little chilly, for example in an air conditioned restaurant or an evening event, you can easily pull out your Chilly Jilly™ and be warm and stylish. There's no more need to carry an extra sweater with you. The great thing about these wraps, which are made from a microfiber material, is that they are almost entirely crease free. They might have a little bit of wrinkle when first taking it out of the bag, but they easily go away after putting it on.
And, the Chilly Jilly™ is super versatile as you can wear it as a shawl on a cold evening or indoors at restaurants, movie theaters or any event. And, you can also use as a sarong at the beach or a scarf on a fall or winter day.
You can purchase your Chilly Jilly™ in 7 solid color choices and 3 reversible patterns. I think this wrap would make the perfect gift for your bridesmaids and even mothers of the bride and groom. You can also opt to purchase with a brooch and have it gift boxed. It's such a unique gift and one that will definitely be used by the recipient.
PS: While I was gifted a Chilly Jilly™ Wrap, I was not in any way paid
to make an endorsement, I simply wrote how I feel about the product.
Today's beautiful wedding was photographed by Shanell of Bledsoe Photography. The bride is a National Guard Reserve member which led to the red, white and blue wedding theme. The wedding took place over Memorial Day Weekend so this color combination was a perfect fit. The bride and groom, Morgan and Michael, stayed at the Holiday Inn Opryland after their initial wedding hotel got flooded. Just a little something extra about the wedding that I thought was so special and unique - for their ceremony, the guitarist learned an acoustic version of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" for the bridesmaids/groomsmen processional. And, when the rain comes, why not have the cocktail hour first? That's exactly what Morgan and Michael did. Their cocktail hour was held in a decorated rustic barn before the outdoor ceremony due to a rain delay.

Thank you so much Shanell for sharing today's gorgeous Memorial Day weekend wedding of Morgan and Michael with my readers today. To see more from Shanell, please visit her web site and blog.

Thank you to PlaceTile Designs for offering 3 lucky readers of Brenda's Wedding Blog such lovely prizes this past week. It's now time to announce the winning recipients.
I asked entrants to tell me their favorite product from PlaceTile Design's shop.
The 1st place winner of the Initial MessageTile and 3 bottle stoppers is Bethany who wrote: "My favorite item on the site is the vine cheese plate. I can picture using it to entertain for many years to come."
The 2nd place winner of the Initial MessageTile is Angelina who wrote: "How unique and versatile! I like the Coterie Place Tiles and think they would be perfect for when our parents meet for the first time at a small dinner party before our April 2, 2011 wedding."
The 3rd place winner of the 3 bottle stoppers is Claire who wrote: "Our wedding is on Sep. 4, 2011 and my favorite product from the shop is the set of platinum bottle stoppers, they would be such a great way to remind yourself where you got a particular olive oil, or when you opened that bottle of wine! I love that they are attractive and elegant at the same time. The idea of using them as two-for-one place cards and party favors is so fun!"
Congratulations Bethany, Angelina and Claire - I'll be emailing you each personally today for your mailing address. Please note: winner(s) have 48 business hours to reply or another winner will be selected.
Stay tuned for today's great giveaway coming up in just a bit.
Today's Eye Candy Friday photo is simply stunning. It's from Pavel Shpak Photography and was taken in the financial district of Manhattan. Pavel stopped traffic {for about 15 minutes} as the sun was setting while he positioned the car and the bride and groom so they could also get the restaurant in the shot to make it look vintage. The angle of the shot, the lighting, the car - it's like a scene from a movie. And, the old Mercedes was recently rebuilt with all the original parts by the couples uncle and had it for this specific engagement shoot.

Today's royal blue and yellow wedding, photographed by Leslie Roark Photography, is the perfect summer color combination - especially if you're marrying beachside, like Kristen and John were. Today's bride and groom wanted a relaxed, fun, summer-ish feel to their wedding and yellow seemed to be the perfect summer color to start with. But, Kristen knew she wanted colored, funky shoes so she decided that royal blue would work perfectly with the yellow and add that "pop" to her shoes she was looking for. And, I love a couple that just wants their guests to come and have a good time to celebrate the beginning of their marriage and new life together. After all, isn't that what it should be about? Marrying the one you love and celebrating with all your friends and family?

Thank you so much Leslie for sharing this beautiful summer wedding of Kristen and John with my readers today. To see more from Leslie Roark Photography, please visit her web site.

I don't have a particular color palette that I'm partial to, but I do seem to always be drawn to weddings that are black and white with a pop of fuchsia, and this wedding, photographed by Rosita of Free Spirit Photography in Canada is no exception. The bride and groom wanted an elegant spring wedding with classic looks and details. But, they opted for an "urban grunge" approach for the couples' shots {aka graffiti alley}. Elegant and classic pink gerbera daisies were the floral theme along with black damask. A truly striking combination. The flower girl wore an adorable black and white polka dotted dress with a pink sash and the bridesmaids wore black satin cocktail dresses. I love this because the bridesmaids have a wonderful "little black dress" to wear anytime after the wedding. Don't you just love the brides dress with the black sash?

And, now we venture into the Artisan's Alley alleyway in London, Ontario for the "urban grunge" photos. I LOVE these shots Rosita captured.
