Hi Liz:

I had a wonderful time last night. Your venue is great and I will recommend it as my favorite place for Vermont wedding sites. The reason is that the setting is beautiful and lends itself to great photos. Also, the main asset you have is that you are weather-proof so brides don’t have to rent a tent. The ceremony room is great and I’m sure spring and summer weddings are beautiful there. I loved the bride’s house. And she seemed very happy with everything also.

Thanks Vyto Starinskas

Thank you so much Liz for everything!!!

There are no superlatives that exist in any language that can communicate how grateful we are for all you efforts and support Guests were constantly sharing their experience with us for making things so easy for them!!!

Riverside is truly magical - Thanks for being part of it!!!!

Guest Blogger Elisabeth: A Vermont Wedding - February 11, 2008

Six months ago, when Chelsea first asked me to write some things for the week, we were all set to get married in Maine and that was that. Well then. We are now getting married in Vermont, just over the Green Mountains from where we met, and we are so excited!

When researching the Maine property I came across a truly spectacular property on Flickr, but it might as well have been in North Dakota because it never occurred to me that it was perfect. And it turns out it's beyond perfect.

So now we will be married at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont. Don't worry, Stacey Kane is still coming! Courtney and Liz own and run the property and they are awesome, fantabulous girls. Since there are always weird connections in my life I should tell you that it turns out Courtney's mom talked with me for a while during a studio event a week before Z proposed, and had told me about her daughter owning an excellent property in Vermont.

Our flower lady, Trish, is also awesome. So is Tom, who will be in charge of the pig and all of the delicious food. Dave the music man is a star (and wears cool sneakers). All in all, awesome all around. I have finally printed the save the dates and will try to take a picture of them if you'd like to see them.

Hi there Riverside Farm Girls!

i can't thank you enough for an amazing wedding! it was truly incredible!! I’m finally just coming off cloud 9 now. and the bridal suite was luxurious and cozy and adorable! And oh my god that shower! I left a small gift for you guys as a thank you and gave it to Alex and Sylvia to pass along - a guide to marriage from the 1950s that I thought would make fun reading for future Amee farm guests.

July 14th Wedding 2007

Dear Liz and Courtney,

I wanted to thank you for putting together a great event for us.  You really worked hard and my husband and I both felt you came through completely.   Liz, you really jumped in with great professionalism and follow-through.  You are a great asset to Riverside.  Courtney, I can not believe you cleaned the toilet.  No one could ever accuse you of not being down to earth. Chris was wonderful, sweet and charming and everyone loved him.  I thought the whole weekend was spectacular.  You didn't miss any of the details.

So, all that being said, I hope we can get together again some time.

Again, thank you.  I will never forget the beauty of Riverside and will definitely have a lump in my throat whenever passing Tweed River Drive.
